cement ledge

AARON HAMM
Project 4

I would like to paint the outdoor stone ledges in the abstract style of Bruce Gray. I think adding bright abstract circular designs to the curved stone would bring the area to life and would be much more visually appealing than dirty stone.
I also propose that color changing lights be added around the edges of the cement path. The colored lights could change randomly throughout the day, or change based on seasons/holidays (red, white, blue for 4th of July).
I think by making the area nicer, it would give student something to look at and talk about while they eat, hang out, and do homework.

  1. This is so unique!
Reminds me of a brighter world.
Also, I think the school should make this happen!

  2. I love how just the simple use of color brings the entire area to life! This could easily be implemented across all the worn cement ledges to give a new look to the campus. Well done! Karen Hamm

  3. Very cool. I think anything curved has it's own personality and what a neat addition. The ground coloring reminds me of a globe that was flattened out.

  4. The randomness and wildness of these color patterns make it all the more interesting
I can safely say this is one of the most realistic and overall best ones so far

  9. Really like your decorative patterns. Would like to see the circular centers throughout the campus done this way...a series of patterns; perhaps related to the field of study in the nearby facilities. Great job. Nice work!
